Sakhalin II GBS Platforms
Role: Assistant Offshore T&I Manager and Installation Lead, Aker Marine Contractors (2004–2005)
Prepared and led towage, positioning and installation of the two gravity base structures at Lunskoye and Piltun. Managed tow-fleet contracts, mobilisation in Singapore and MWS coordination.
KMZ FPSO, Pemex, Mexico
Role: T&I Manager, BW Offshore (2005–2008)
Responsible for mooring-system installation and led FPSO installation on arrival in Mexico. Followed mooring fabrication in Europe and coordinated module transport from Dubai and Batam. Offshore scope also included flowline installation.
Goliat FPSO Barents Sea
Role: Transportation and Installation Manager, ENI Norge (September 2011–January 2014)
Responsible for T&I planning from the HHI yard in Ulsan to the Barents Sea. Followed mooring-system fabrication and installation, held mooring subcontracts, planned access for offshore completion and commissioning, and coordinated MWS.
Yamal LNG
Role: T&I Manager and Transport and Marine Operations Manager, Inocean / TechnipFMC / Yamgaz (2014–2017)
Managed module load-out across five Chinese yards and led load-in and shore transportation of 153 LNG process modules at Sabetta. Scope included transport strategy, engineering and procedure review, marine subcontractors and MWS coordination.

FSRU Toscana (2024) – Rectification Project
Role: FSRU Superintendent and acting Lead Tow Master, OLT / ECOS / Core Marine
Supervised engineering and procedures for disconnection and re-installation. Followed yard activities, mooring, riser and umbilical preparations, operational readiness and selected pre-commissioning work. Acting Lead Tow Master during transits between yards.
Hywind Tampen – Floating offshore wind
Role: Marine Operations Lead, Aker Solutions / Kværner Stord (2021–2022)
Planned marine construction activities at Dommersnes, supervised engineering and procedures, and led vessel logistics. Scope included lifts, ballast filling, top-deck transport and tow-out, plus construction-barge mooring, stability and safety.
Nan Hai Fen Jin FPSO (2023) – Turret buoy and riser installation
Role: Company Representative, CanSys (APL) / TechnipFMC (August 2023)
Installation and commissioning of the submerged turret loading buoy and riser system at Huizhou 32-5, offshore Hong Kong, including ROV and diver intervention.
AMMAN Mineral (2023–2025) – Subsea pipelines (Company Rep)
Role: Company Representative, AMMAN Mineral, Sumbawa, Indonesia
Planning, preparation and execution of recurring replacement campaigns for approximately 3.5 km of HDPE tailings pipeline. Led onboard representation during subsea work, cutting and towage, and coordinated vessel spreads.
ESSO Refinery Operations – Leadership & operations management
Role: Senior Project Manager and Site Manager, Endúr Energy Solutions / Fabricom Norway (2018–2020)
Built and led a 27-person maintenance organisation at ESSO Slagentangen. Led annual maintenance and turnaround work and established a prefabrication workshop with six skilled workers.
Sea Transport Tenders (2023) – Marine logistics & heavy transport
Bring Logistics (January 2023): sea transport tenders, vessel selection, stowage planning and vessel optimisation against loading and discharge port constraints.
Offshore Operations (recent years) – Supervision
Load-out, load-in, loading and discharge of heavy-lift vessels, vessel mobilisation and Company Representative assignments.
Nortech Marine AS provides independent consultancy in marine operations, transportation and installation, and mooring systems. Andor Engebakken works mainly as Marine Operations Manager and Company Representative.
Andor began at sea in 1975 and moved into shore-based marine operations and project management in 1995. Based in Tønsberg, Norway, he is available for international assignments at project offices, yards, ports, onboard vessels and offshore.
